Siam Seaplane Receives AOL

Siam Seaplane, Thailand’s first premium seaplane service, is delighted to announce the successful approval of its Air Operating License (AOL), following the close collaboration between the company, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and the Ministry of Transport. This achievement marks a significant milestone for Siam Seaplane and is the mark of a new beginning of seaplane services in Thailand. 

In obtaining the AOL, Siam Seaplane has proven that the company complies with the strict and stringent safety regulations and operational standards, set by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand and the Ministry of Transport, which, once fully launched commercially, will allow our guests to not only travel to their destinations safely but also in style. The company has worked tirelessly for the past four years to arrive at where we are now. The AOL, officially approved by the Civil Aviation Board and the Minister of Transport, is the first of two major licensing steps for any airline in Thailand. The second step is the Air Operator Certificate (AOC), whose approval process for Siam Seaplane is currently underway, and will require approval by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. 

The licensing process involved rigorous assessments, inspections, and evaluations of the company’s financial and business capabilities, all of which Siam Seaplanes upholds to the highest levels. This signifies just the beginning of fulfilling our vision to redefine transportation by bringing a high-end luxury travel experience to a premium-mass and luxury market segment. We will do this through a diversified aviation offering, connecting major hubs to remote getaways.
