At Siam Seaplane Co., Ltd., a Thai company established in 2019, our mission is to safely bring our discerning guests to their destinations saving them valuable time while providing a uniquely memorable experience. Our core service is a premium seaplane experience, complemented with private charter and sightseeing flight services.
Our existing strategic partners range from selected luxury beach resorts, marinas and other waterfront locations, leading local brands, to tour operators and travel agencies. We pride ourselves with working with the best.
We are happy to explore new partnerships with individuals or companies with a keen interest in aviation and transportation, waterfront real estate, and luxury lifestyle in Thailand.
Siam Seaplane caters to a diverse market, encompassing domestic and international tourists, expatriates, business travelers, corporate clients, families, and friends. The service targets both the premium mass market and luxury segments, providing a seamless and elevated experience at an accessible price point.
Furthermore, seaplanes offer logistical solutions for freight and cargo transport, ensuring delivery of crucial goods to remote locations. They are also instrumental in facilitating non-life threatening medical evacuations and search and rescue operations.
Siam Seaplane anticipates launching its service early 2025, contingent upon securing approvals for designated water landing and takeoff sites. A phased approach, commencing with a focused route network, ensures both a realistic implementation strategy and early commercial viability.
Two hubs will anchor the operation — Bangkok, providing access to destinations within a one-and-a-half hour radius, such as Pattaya, Hua Hin, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, Rayong, and Koh Kood; and Phuket, connecting travelers to Andaman Sea gems such as Phang-Nga, Koh Yao Noi, Krabi, Phi Phi, and Koh Lipe.
Prior to seaplane operations, we provide land-to-land private charter and sightseeing flights with Siam Scenic.
We can identify the best area directly in front, or nearby, your waterfront location for a water landing site.
Width and length are carefully considered to cover a sufficient range, even in the event of waves, to ensure comfortable landing and takeoff while adhering to national regulatory requirements and Asia-Pacific recommendations by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
A minimum distance of 350 meters from the shore ensures no disturbance to swimmers or beach operations.
Prior to landing, trained personnel patrol and check the area using a small boat or jet ski, establishing direct contact with the crew. Guests disembark onto a floating platform and are picked up by boat, or onto a pier if available.
