Welcoming our new COO

Bangkok, Thailand – 3 July 2025 – Siam Seaplane is pleased to announce the appointment of Captain Narin Saweephat as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With nearly two decades of experience in commercial aviation and airline operations, Captain Narin brings a proven track record of leadership, safety, and service excellence to support the company’s ongoing mission to deliver premium last-mile air connectivity and amphibious seaplane travel across Thailand.

Captain Narin began his aviation journey as a Cadet Pilot, completing his flight training at the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) in Hua Hin. He went on to fly the ATR 72 and Airbus A319/320 for nearly two decades with leading regional carriers, including Bangkok Airways, building a distinguished career in the cockpit.

He has also held prominent leadership roles as Chief Pilot and Flight Training Manager for the ATR fleet, overseeing safety, pilot development, and operational standards. With over 7,700 flight hours — including on both turbo props and turbo jets — his deep operational expertise, combined with a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and team leadership, makes him an invaluable addition to Siam Seaplane’s executive team.

Bridging Operations and Commercial Strategy

While his core expertise lies in aviation operations, Captain Narin has also been actively involved in the commercial and cross-functional aspects of the aviation business. For example, his work with Mototok, an advanced aircraft tug solution, gave him exposure to commercial partnerships and technical product development — an experience that complements his operational leadership. His ability to bridge operations and commercial strategy will be key as Siam Seaplane continues building a scalable, customer-centric luxury travel model.
